By "activity hours", are you referring to the hourly steps that trigger reminder to move (at 50 past the hour) if you don’t reach the 250 steps hourly goal? If so, it is step-based, so not necessarily optimal for you if your mobility is reduced. However, if you are able to reach the hourly goal, it’s indeed a good way to make sure you’re not inactive for too long. And 14 hours is significantly more than the default.
What I had in mind were active minutes, which are not step-based. Active minutes are based on intensity and can be earned with activities that don’t involve steps, provided they’re intense enough (e.g., as detected by your HR) to exceed a certain threshold.

Your real goal should be about activity. For people with normal mobility, their step count tends to correlate quite well with overall activity. If you have reduced/limited lower-body mobility, use another metric as your main goal, for instance active minutes or calories burned.

Thank you I appreciate that. I have been burning vabout 2000 calories a day so that's a start, my activity hours are set for 14 hrs if I make it good, I'm trying not to obsess about it
