Tips on how to remember to sync and add on the app

Hello fellow steppers!

I love my Charge HR and even realised that I feel naked without it!

I am a frequent user of it, however I am really terrible with remembering to sync my steps into the app! I tend to get this done as little as twice a week! What do people do to remembering to sync every day? I don't leave my bluetooth on in my phone, as my phone battery is terrible and that would end up killing it before I managed to get home every day!

As well as how do people remember to add what they eat/drink into the app itself? I don't think I have added in much in the app since like late august! So what could I do in order to keep it synced as well as updating the app with my food/drink as the day goes on? 😄

I have recently started using the Charge HR (my first Fitbit) and I keep the all day sync turned on, and it hasn't affected my battery really any differently.  When I am at work, I sync up using my laptop since it's in front of me.

When I go to eat, what I usually tend to do is log the food before I start preparing it (or if I had to warm something up, while I wait for it to heat up/cool down).  Keep telling yourself you need to do it and eventually it's just a habit. Between my laptop, cell phone & iPad, I am usually pretty good now at remembering.

Worst case, just set a time at night to record everything down. When you are 30 mins or so from going to bed, just log it all at once if you are having issues doing it throughout the day

Hi @Lotias and @BrianW13 as far as remembering to log, set your Fitbit alarm and it'll buzz you as many times as you need to remember to open the ap and turn on Bluetooth,(.close it to keep battery.)
I also have Background ap refresh on.

Like say 3x daily for mealtimes or am/pm
Whatever works!
Good luck

That's some cleaver ways! I will try and remember to log food as I am about to prepare it! Also I realised that a good time for me to sync would be just after I've brushed my teeth in the evening! It could sync whilst I do some basic hygiene stuff like shaving and washing!

I will also try and set an alarm to see how it goes!

It might be a good idea joining a challenge. This could help to keep you syncing your Fitbit tracker constantly to see your progress towards other users. When time goes by you will get used to sync your device as a habit. You can find information about challenges in this articleSmiley Very Happy
