Does anyone know hoe accurate the step tracker is when taking a drums alive class. I recently started taking this class and each time I take it I hit my 10,000 step mark shortly after. I know my arms are always moving but I didn't think it would be that much. When I run 3 miles on my off days it still takes the rest of the afternoon to hit my goal.

Welcome to the Fitbit Family @CLAP13! I'll be glad to help on this
There are some cases where your hands may be moving but your body is not, such as driving or playing the drums that may cause your tracker to count certain movement patterns as extra steps, but not to worry! They can easily be negated from your daily log.
To negate steps from your activity log, you can do the following:
Another suggestion I have found within the boards is to put your trackers on Sleep or activity mode while you are playing the drums and then overwrite the activity with a manual log.
Let me know if you have any questions, happy drumming

I found this very helpful. I drum in a Samba band and we practice on Sundays. My fitbit will usually log about 25 minutes of "exercise" for 2 hours of practice. When I log the activity as 2 hours of driving, my steps go down, but my calories burned usually goes up. It is very interesting to see how my heart rate does up while I'm playing.

That is excellent news @ahero555! It's always great to see these tips being applied to real scenarios.
Also, while your step count and active minutes decrease when you add a Driving log; you were still burning calories and getting heart rate information when you were drumming away! Your Fitbit will recognize this and provide credit for this activity.
Let me know if you have any questions, happy samba-ing!
