Tracking while playing Kinect/Wii games?

ANSWERED

Later today I'm going to spend some time exercising by playing kinect games.  I have a workout and a dancing game I have a lot of fun with.  Do people have experience with how the fitbit will track this kind of movement? Should I leave it on and let it just count as steps? Should I take it off and manually log the activity based on the calorie count the game gives me?

You need not take it off. When you manually log activities it supersedes what the device recorded, it doesn't double count it. Just record an activity and compare it to what you would have logged manually. You have to use your judgement whether the difference is significant enough to warrant manually logging it. Even if you decide to manually log it you might record an activity with the device as a place holder to record the time and remind you that you did incase you forget to log it.
