Hello again everyone
I'm pondering on getting another Fitbit to go alongside my Inspire but I DON'T want it to sync the steps or active minutes but I do want the food and water and sleep and exercise and stuff to sync, ideally in two different sections of the same app or in two seperate apps.
I'm thinking of getting an HR version of the second Fitbit to wear on my wrist and my current Fitbit still on my ankle to record my steps. I still want the new Fitbit to record my steps just to see how different it is between my current ankle steps and the new wrist steps because I use a quad cane when I walk and I want to see how many steps difference there is between the steps I actually take and how often I use the quad cane while I'm walking as well as recording the flights of stairs that I climb too.
Now that I'm getting more healthy and aware of what I'm doing, I want to get as much different information as possible.
Am I asking for the moon on a stick please? lol
Thank you!

I'm not sure but don't think you can have 2 fitbit apps open at the same time. You could try that easily enough; you can create a new fitbit account without attaching a tracker to it.
If my suspicion is correct, you would need to keep logging out of the account; then log in with the other account.

You cannot control which data syncs. And wearing 2 trackers at the same time causes problems in the same account. But it sounds like what you might want is to have 2 different fitbit accounts/emails, one for each device.
One implication would be that the data from each would be completely separate and could not be combined at all.
Ideally you would want 2 separate sync devices, one for each fitbit; if you have only one device that can sync, you would have to keep logging out of one account and into the other.

Thank you so much, @JohnnyRow . I've got several different email addresses and if I can keep the two devices on two different accounts then that would be ideal. Putting the info in twice would be no problem at all as long as my Windows 10 laptop would let me have two different Fitbit apps open at the same time?

Thank you so much! Just been having a look on Amazon and I'm thinking of getting the Charge 3 if I get a second one. Not being able to have 2 apps isn't a big problem, just a touch frustrating is all, but that's OK 'cos I only usually look at the app when I've taken our dog for her two walks and every time I eat and drink, but if it's just a case of logging in and out then that's OK with me... it'll just take a while to get used to is all, same as with everything new 😊
