Hi @CourtB - If your bed and wakeup time are correct, your manual log should be exactly the same as if you had invoked the sleep mode. The timer function while in sleep mode is the same as when you invoke it for any activity - it's just a timer, nothing else. All the data is recorded on your One, whether you have the timer on or off.

The pattern is so similar either way I enter it, that I doubt there is any difference other than start and stop times. It would seem to be using the same movement information, just converted to assuming it is worn on wrist instead of torso while in bed.
My problem is remembering when I fell asleep.

Your device will record your movement level whether you put it in activity/sleep mode or not. When you put the times in manually, it will use the stored data to re-create the sleep data. (Your device does not do the calculating, it is all server side.)
