So my mom recently bought a versa 2, she regularly goes walking and cycling in the morning, she tells me that she has issues when starting a new exercise, when she starts a walking exercise it takes a long time to connect with her phone( for the gps feature), and other times i tell her to ignore it and simply use the steps tracker intergrated in the watch itself, problem is it takes a long time until the watch starts counting steps, sometimes she walks for 1km or so and the watch is just starting to register, anybody know how to fix either of those issues? And with the bike is even worse, todaty for example it didnt register anything at all even though she did like 15 km, not in the watch nor the app, today actually even though the watch registered her walk, it didnt transfer the information of it to the app. Could it be a problem of my moms unit? (maybe need to get it replaced?) She is getting really frustrated with it and it would mean a lot if anybody could help me pls.

@Andre.Dude it could be a matter of restarting her fitbit. As far as biking - what didn't register, steps or the activity itself? Steps are never registered for a bike ride (at least not accurately) since it isn't a stepping activity. Under normal circumstances the fitbit will auto recognize an activity after 10 minutes, if you do not manually start the activity. Any steps done in those 10 minutes will be attributed to the activity. I would start with restarting the tracker..
