Hi.
As some of you might know, when you are on vacation, you always tend to have a lack of time, since there are so many things to discover and to do.
This is my vacation workout:
1.5 miles run withing 9 minutes.
Squats = 2x20
Russian twist with medicine ball 10 kg = 3x20
Leg raises = 3x20
Raised leg crunches with medicine ball 10 kg = 3x20
Heel touches = 3x20
Modified V-ups with medicine ball 10 kg = 3x20
100s = 40 seconds
Plank = 40 seconds
Plank left = 40 seconds
Plank right = 40 seconds
Dragon flag sit ups = 2x15
Side crunches with medicine ball 10 kg = 3x15
Dorsal hold = 60 seconds
Diamond push up = 3x10
Push up = 2x20
Wide grip push up = 2x10
Spiderman push up = 2x10
Clapping push up = 2x15
And every other day 70 pushups withing 2 minutes + 70 situps withing 2 minutes.
Whats your opinion?
As I've said, it's just for vacation.
Best AnswerI think if you do that routine three times a day, it will work well. 🙂

I tend to keep it simple on vacations. I run an hour every morning before my family wakes up and I try to pick activities during the day that keep me active. I personally don't bother with body weight exercises because when at home my resistance training routine is heavy so a squat with only body weight would just turn into an endurance exercise instead of a strength exercise and I already have running for that.

I am with @FitBeforeFifty. I keep it simple- run/walk and the rest of the time I spend enjoying myself. I typically put in 5 miles in the morning and whatever else the day brings is bonus. Since most vacations involve some element of walking distances I end up with decent cardio for the day. When I get home, I pick up the routine...
If you have time to do what you outlined, I think its great. But if it comes at a cost to vacation time- I say skip it.
