I find that I get the majority of my steps in the early morning - I love waking up and working out to start my day !

I try to get some steps in in the morning, but I leave for work at 6 am, and I hate getting up earlier than 5. I do most of my steps when I get home from work in th early evening. I love that it's still light out in the evening now to take walks.

I walk in the early morning and in the evening when the weather is much cooler.

04:00 hours. 4 MPH treadmill run for one straight hour. No more than 5 one minute rest intervals at 2.5 MPH. That gets 8,000 - 10,000 steps average. Regular work walks and stairs during break times. Evening either hit the treadmill for another hour at 4 MPH or go home and use a cardio dvd workout and strength training workout.

It really depends....
On the week days I get the most steps during class monitoring labs. On the weekends I work out on my elciptical for two hours while watching Korean drama or, if weather permits, I go hiking

On my commute. It's about 900 steps from the train to my office. Repeat again at the end of the day, and add another 1600 or so walking home from the train station. I really miss those steps during the weekend. Thankfully warm weather is here so I can rack up a ton of steps mowing the lawn. It was about 2000 steps to do my little yard, and a cool 8000 to cut all the grass at my mom's house. Walking to the farmer's market every Saturday will definitely help with my weekend swoons, too.
