Wii Fit U friends!

I have Wii Fit Plus, but not Wii Fit U. How is it different? Do you recommend it?

I have a Wii Fit Plus that I just bought on ebay.  I absolutely love it!  It is the first time I've ever actually laughed out loud while exercising.  I think it's hilarious - and it's brutally honest too!  The thing is I feel like I'm about 5 years behind because most people have been there done that if you know what I mean - the novelty has worn off.  Most of the online forums are pretty old, so when I saw that someone actually still has one and uses it (and dated this month) I had to comment.

I love my Wii Fit. I've been using it for years. I don't think it's enough by itself, but I like the way it tracks my progress. I need to do things like balance exercises and situps, and the Wii is a good way to do those things.

I used my Wii Fit Plus like crazy and just got a Wii U for Christmas. Love it. I have logged hours and hours on it. Much better for working out. I do wish there was new Yoga... anyway my point is.. I use it every day and don't know anyone else who does! So me too!

My daughter has a Wii and balance board.  Now she has gone to Uni and probably too old for this I'm going home to dig it out of the cupboard and see what it has.  I'm assuming Wii fit U is a game I need to purchase?  Sorry not a gamer person!

But this sounds like fun, especially if there are a few of us.  I'll probably be back with lots of questions once I find it.

Wii U I just the new Wii console. The standard Wii and balance board is what I've used for a couple of years and it is great! The Wii U has a few more games on it incorporating lunges and a bit more aerobic activities (dance) but it is basically the same. The Wii fit that you have is great for home excercise!

P.s.. I use this lately because I have a brutal work schedule and a family. I rarely have that extra hour or so to drive to a gym. Also, it is cold and rainy 90% of the time where I live and having the Wii as an option sort of removes any excuses I had for not moving during the long winter here 💪

Stacyhello, I am the same dark when I get home from work and again on the way to work in the morning. I'm lucky if I see some daylight at lunchtime.

I will start with the wii fit I have and see how I get on with that, then I might treat myself to the Wii U later in the year before next winter.

I have used the same balance board for years. I did upgrade to the Wii Fit Plus when it came out, and we bought a Wii U console when it came out. I use them together, and I do just fine.
