'arbitrarily set' 10,000 step goal

Reply to FITBIT defending their 'arbitrarily set' 10,000 step goal'.

CDC can be infiltrated by self serving gurus like Dr. Ancel Keys in the 60's who got himself hired by the ?Heart? association and mislead the world about saturated fat causing heart diseases.  The 'heart health hypothesis study' used a correlation as a "definite" causality of heart disease.

Later on the sugar industry paid Mayo clinic researchers to publish studies claiming that sugar consumption had no negative effect on heart health. Following that, the USDA food pyramid promoted low-fat consumption.

SUGAR(refined carbohydrates) is the cause of many of our current chronic illnesses as demonstrated by steep curves in obesity, diabetes 2 mental illnesses, cancer..over the last half century.  .  PLUS you cannot exercise yourself out of a bad diet.  Your articles still support too much consumption of carbohydrates.   Learn about ketogenic lifestyle.

Aha ! Now I get it.  So it's all big conspiracy by the American Heart Association, the CDC, activity trackers industry, and other so-called "reliable" health sources designed to lead us away from the one true health of the ketogenic lifestyle.  I suppose the "health" industry also faked the moon landing.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
