I'm new, not even 24 hours with this fit bit. I have numerous physical limitations, YET, I am moving. No way will I be able to reach 10,000 steps a day. ONE DAY I WILL! I see where everyone says to change it, but I click on the step icon on the dashboard page and then no where do I see where to change the steps. HELP a computer challenged lady. Thank you in advance.

Hi TexasMomma! There are many people who are incredible on these forums, or Activity Groups. I also thought 10,000 steps was way beyond my ability, especially for every day, every day. Think about building your core, base ability, and then keep adding a little, a little.
The first woman to hike the Appalachian Trail from end to end, alone, was 66 years old. She first raised her children, and then 23 grandchildren. When they no longer needed her, she told them she was "going for a walk...." She had prepared for the hike by walking around her block, and around, and around, a little farther every day.
I also recently read a anthropogical study that surmised that ancient men walked 20,000 steps a day, every day, every day..... So, given that, 10,000 is really just a short walk.
Best of luck to you. Don't quit on yourself. You can accomplish more than you think, little by little.
