I did a tough mudder a few years back, I run a lot and did tons of strength training to prep. But girl find some hills and run up and down those a lot, because the mountains on my course kicked my butt. Very your training because the course tests tons of different muscle groups and various cardio requirements. Check out their videos and try to mimic some of the motions, like low crawling and jumping (for Everest). Also being able to do pull ups helps for some of them.

It's so much fun and everyone is there to help each other. Remember you aren't competing against them you are competing against the course.

CROSSFIT!

A great combination of cardio and strength training.

You may need to up the cardio/running outside of your sessions (as i do) but your overall strength and fitness will definitely improve!

Well that's my suggestion anyway 🙂
