Great question @mmagiera. The Flex tracker is water resistant and you can submerge it up to 10 meters, however, what worries me is the mud. What you can try is wearing the tracker inside a pocket. I once put it in a ziplock plastic bag to protect, you can try this option as well.

I know this advice may be a little late, but maybe it can help someone else looking for answers. I wear mine during all of the OCR's I run, and I do several a year. One I run twice a year has two obstacles that you must swim out of after being fully submerged. I have a band I use just for them. They cean up well enough, but scratches, dings, and gouges don't exactly wash away.

It's nice to have you here in the Community @Yaktorious. That is a great idea to use a separate band for those activities. I'm happy that the tracker has worked fine for you and that you are happy to take it in your yearly adventures and competitions. Keep up the good work! Robot Happy

Another late comment to this thread, I have a Chrage HR and wouldn't like to risk doing an OCR wearing it, however, I would welcome an OCR activity so that I can manually log it, I couldn't find one when I did my last OCR, so I logged the run distance plus an hour of booktcamp!

My Flex survived a Spartan race unprotected. My Surge has survived Battlefrog and two smaller OCRs. I don't put anything over the Surge to protect it anymore. (Trying to kill it.)

I'll let you know what race kicks its bucket. Lol
