help with logging food

i am having trouble figuring out how to log in fresh foods - I have to eat Paleo AIP for the next 3 months to see if we can figure out my thyroid triggers and when i try to log the food, I am having trouble breaking it into meals and servings - I am not eating packaged food and at this point don't weight and measure ( but will if that's the only way to track it) - any thoughts on where to find calorie count for Paleo foods or how to log them?

Use your internet search engine, for example Google, and type in calories in Paleo AIP 586 calories in 1 square of Paleo AIP plantain lasagna plus other nutritional information. Or go tomy myfitnesspal.com/food/calories and type in the Paleo AIP food you are looking for (they usually give you portion amounts, not by weight, but you may need to measure or guestimate the quanitity you eat). Hope this helps.

thanks I'll try that - I haven't been logging in food because when i was trying to add in the Whole30 foods I couldn't figure out how to break down the meal from the info I could find -

I don't know how to add a new topic so I'm replying to your 'food logging topic' since my question pertains to logging food....

 

There are some things I eat every day at the same time.  I would like to be able to enter these once as a recurring entry.  So with the exception of travel or special training I always start and end my day with the same food/beverage.

 

Does Fit Bit have a way to log recurring meals and if not doesn't this seem like a straight-forward and useful feature?
