I have been training for a half marathon coming up in june. I have been running a comfortable 5-7 miles, but the last 3 days I had the flu and was completely down-and-out. I attempted my scheduled 8 mile run yesterday, and it turned into a sloppy 5.5.
Any advice for recovering training ground lost while sick?

Depending on what strain of flu, it can take 7 to 14 days to fully recover - trying to do too much too soon will drain the energy reserves needed for healing -
