Balanced Eating

Try mindful when eating whenever possible.

 

Lay your hand onto your precious tummy, close your eyes if desired, how does it feel?

 

  • Empty? Feeling Ravenous (all foods calling your name, anything and everything in sight will do);
  • Satisfied, though could eat possible a bit more?
  • Comfortable Satisfied?
  • Between Comfortable Satisfied and Stuffed? Feeling if eating more, being stuffed instead;
  • Stuffed?

If hungry, it may be tricky to know your personal hunger signs (still struggle with this), as always eating with family, knowing when the body has enough, or getting a bit appetite.. though not experienced true hunger yet. Once felt hollow though.. light on the feet.. feeling something was missing.. and only one time got a intense desire to eat..

 

Mostly we can be eating out of habit, instead of hunger, which is also good, since if ravenous, not able to control portion sizes.. may be choosing a smaller portion instead.. not needing as much..

 

It's possible to log foods, though be aware how your body feels before, during, after eating. If feeling stuffed it's a sign having overeated.. try aiming to be comfortable satisfied. It's always possible to eat more when hungry again.

 

Possible tune in what your body is whispering it wants to have, and how much.. being satisfied with portion of choosing,. feeling getting enough, not being stuffed, but having enough, eating more feels like needing to force feeding your precious body (your precious body tries to tell when not needing more), there could be food left on the plate, wanting a bit more meat, one more egg, doesn't fancy those potatoes in the moment if not so hungry.. or just having a few..

 

It can be tricky to let the body guide, if tuning in with every meal, being more in tune with your precious body at every meal.

 

See which foods you love to eat, which leaves satisfied the most. When allowing to eat when hungry what your craving, not eating something you don't like, cause going to have what desired anyway, possible saving lots of calories in the longer run.

We could lifetime experience different diets? Some experienced and left with a bitter taste and many health problems ... Actually what we should eat us to have a long and healthy life?
