Hey there @Laurel85 ! You have asked an excellent question, and while the Body-for-life meal plan has it's own sets of meals and shakes, it has also mentioned carbohydrates that are complex, multi grain and unrefined as a go to meal.
This might be a bit harder to accomplish while being gluten free, but as to protein, chicken, fish, turkey, lean beef and tofu is recommended. Many users have recommended quinoa, beans, corn, rice, wild rice, among others as a carb alternative.
