It was bound to happen but my wife and I wnet out to an art exhibit and on the way back she asked if we could stop at a local cajun restaurant famous for its fried food. I avoided the fried (mostly) but had an order of Cajun Red Beans and Rice with Andouille Sausage (I only ate 1/2 of the sausage). Also ate six slices of Cajun Fried Dill Pickles and one of the two hush puppies that came with the meal.
Back on the wagon tomorrow!
PS: It tasted wonderful
PPS: If this meal caused me to gain a pound then so be it.

@NY2TX Sounds like it was a nice evening. You showed restraint by not having all the sausage. The meal sounds delicious.
So tomorrow you do extra steps and be more careful what you eat.
I've found by letting yourself enjoy something once in a while imakes it easier to stay on target. So often a person will be so strict that when they get to nibbling something yummy, they just can't stop.
Glad you and the wife were able to enjoy a meal like that. Now I'm hungry!

@Odyssey13 I didn't eat the second hush puppy either - also limited myself to 6 (six) slices of the fried dill pickles. I'll do 5 miles tomorrow night after work and I'll be fine 🙂
Thanks.
