Eating out

Going to dinner tonight. Only healthy option is broiled shrimp an broccoli. I dont know if i want that because i have never had broiled shrimp. What should i do?

How about broiled chicken?  Good protein.  Sea food may be a + or a -.  I wouldn't try it "out" unless you had other options too.  How adventurous do you feel?

This is a little too late to help you immediately @KelZ96 but here are some good rules of thumb for future outings:

 

  • Get your protein broiled if possible. That could be steak, chicken, or seafood.
  • Stay away from anything battered; deep fried or not.
  • Substitute starches for vegetables. Restaurants will usually substitute in an extra vegetable with little prompting. If that's not possible, ask for rice with a preference towards brown or long grain varieties.
