My favorite is brocolli tossed with Bolthouse Yogurt Ranch Dressing, then placed in the air fryer.

I am currently working on perfecting sweet potato fries. So yummy 😋

my hubs and kids use it way more than me. I don't think there is a favorite, but they use it for warming up leftovers, making avocado fries and veggies when in a time crunch.

Hi @emili

The avocado fries sound really good. How do you make them?

I made zucchini slices in the air fryer. I sprayed them lightly with olive oil. Then I sprinkled them with garlic powder and parmesan cheese. They were so good!

Is that like a wet dressing you mix them in or a season dry mix?

Hi @Apequita the Bolthouse Yougurt Ranch is a wet dressing. It is located in the refrigerated section at the grocery store.

Those sound really good @hpycmprdave. What temperature and for how long to you cook them in the air fryer?

My oven broke nearly two years ago and I've been using the air fryer for everything ever since. This is the thread for me! I can't wait to see what people share - would love some new ideas.

Some of my favourites/regulars:

- Whole bell peppers, which come out easy-to-peel, super juicy and sweet (can't remember the timing, just until they're done)

- Whole celeriac, cleaned, rubbed in coriander seed & olive oil, 150C (basted) for 90 minutes.

- Small potatoes, rubbed in olive oil, salt, spices, liquid-smoke, 200C (basted) until crispy on the outside and creamy inside.

- Cubes of potato for patatas bravas, oiled/spiced and cooked as above, timing depends on size.

- Baked bramley apples, skin scored, stuffed with buttery dried fruit and maple syrup, 150C for 20-25 minutes.

- Store-bought pies come out with lovely crispy pastry (but take a little longer than in the oven).

- Cauliflower, broken into fork-size chunks, tossed in olive oil & spices, 180C for about 20 minutes, to serve with something creamy/squidgy.

- Arancini (orange-sized balls of cold risotto, stuffed with meat/cheese/whatever, with flour/egg/panko exterior), 180C for 20 minutes, turn a few times.

- Chickpeas, rubbed in oil/salt, 150C for an hour, to use as a crunchy topping.

I also find it great for home-made pies that deserve crispy tops, eg mashed potato for fish pie, or thinly sliced potato on my self-invented spicy veg pie. The latter works best if half the slices are half-cooked in advance, and only added half way through the pie cooking process.

(I've also had success with apple/almond cake, potato chips, latkes, spicy chicken wings, toasted sandwiches, whole aubergines, spaghetti squash, normal squash, panko tofu, puff pastry spinach rolls... )

What great ideas @JennyTheUnfit

I rarely use my oven anymore. The air fryer is so versatile and can be used for almost everything.
