Hey guys!

 

I've been on the hunt for a website (or several) that has a ton of super easy and healthy recipes. As someone working part-time while going to school full-time I need stuff that is fast and easy. If you have any recommendations PLEASE let me know! Thank you 🙂

I know this isn't a recipe site per se. but I felt the need to share.  It makes a huge difference in my life. I use a meal plan service that is just insanely helpful.  They are offering a $1/month program through (I think - don't hold me to it) tomorrow.  Can't say enough good things. They are Weight Watchers focused (have PointsPlus and as of  this Saturday SmartPoints) but they are basically just a smart meal plan. So you could do it even if you aren't doing Weight Watchers.  Recipes are seriously good enough to serve company but easy enough for busy weeknights.  Site is shrinkingonabudgetmealplan.com

I recently found a website/blog called www.wellplated.com. Recipes here are reworked to be healthier. There is a fabulous recipe for spagehetti squash with sautéed mushrooms, spinach, and Parmesan cheese. Also one for a heathy version of PF Chang lettuce wraps to name just a couple.

I also love mushrooms, you can combine them with everything Smiley LOL. My favorite way to cook them is with chicken breast. I only add salt and pepper to the chicken breast then I fried it for about 15 minutes, at the end you add the mushrooms and onions. Let them cook for 10 minutes more and presto. You have a chicken that you can eat with rice, pasta, vegetables or use it in a sandwich or panini. Hope you like it!
