Frustrated with searching for cooked carrots

I am entering "cooked carrots" and "steamed carrots" and am getting everything except for a cup of cooked carrots. Sigh. I normally am pretty happy with the data base, and have learned to work around its idiocyncracies, but most the stuff on this particular search isn't even close. Sorry for the rant. I guess I'll check out another data base and enter it manually.

Thank you for your reply, Wendy. I, too, found the info on another data base and then I entered the calories and the nutritional information into the FitBit database, and this morning "Carrots, cooked" comes up.

I guess I don't understand how this site's search engine works. I was frustrated that when I entered variations of cooked carrots, mostly things that had nothing to do with carrots were listed, but a whole lot of cookies were. It seems to me that the search engine should have at least listed raw carrots.

If this is the worst thing that ever happens to me, I will lead a charmed life indeed. It's not that big of a deal, but I did find the search results puzzling.

This is why I use My Fitness Pal to log food--bigger, better database and synchs with Fitbit.
