Hi, I recently started to eat oatmeal a few days ago, I'm wondering if its healthy and could I add anything to the oatmeal like fruits, etc.
In my oatmeal I don't use skim milk, because I can't find any at any grocery stores so I just use normal milk, Is that still healthy?

I add Almond Milk 30. Sugar Free syrup. Either Cranberries or Almonds.
You can add what ever you like. Oatmeal is healthy. I don't eat it daily. I like variety

Don't have a plan, trying to go by feeling and see what's most appealing in the moment to have.. having a small appetite, so had some yoghurt craved for yesterday and some coffee. Yesterday it's been coffee with a banana instead, today not really wanting to eat a banana for breakfast..
Try listening to your bodies signals which foods it likes to have in the moment and how much, depending on what previously has been eaten (nutritients / total calories), every food choice has effect what your body likes to have next when being hungry.
If having eated the same every day in the morning and thinking hm don't like to eat this now, it's delicious though have enough for a while, it's possible to want something else instead.. (the fruits on the plate may look more appealing to have for example)..
It's a adventure, discovering your bodies needs (how are you feeling before / during / after eating?), feeling to force feed in the moment or when eating and not really being hungry, not really needing anything or could have a little bit more because nutritious foods are available.. and eating until feeling more satisfied to prevent binge eating on the non so nutritious rich foods later on (if no healthier choices are available to eat currently when getting really hungry again)..
Have Fun

I have plain greek yogurt for breakfast, right after my workout; low calories and a ton of protein

It's great to see you here @Deezy123! I'm pretty weird for breakfast items, I don't like repeating food within the week
However, here's an epic thread with some really good breakfast ideas; check it out!

I add a little brown sugar and banana slices or apples (cut up the apples before the microwave but add bananas after if that makes sense).

Omelette's are fun. You can make a ton of variations and add just about almost anything. If i had some usable left overs from the previous nights meal i.e. chicken/turkey/steak etc. i add it to my omelette. Also, i find that its a great way to incorporate greens that aren't as pleasant to my taste buds nude or without something to mask/hide the flavor - omelettes are perfect to mask spinach and kale. I also enjoy a serving of oatmeal. Best way to cook oatmeal i find is in a slow cooker with steel cut oats, cinnamon and sliced apple. I turn on the oatmeal at bedtime and wake up the next morning with the amazing scent of applie pie throughout my house. The sugars from the apple are released and mix sweetness throughout the oatmeal. I sometimes add some greek yogurt or have some cottage cheese on the side. These are my ideas for great breakfast choices...can't forget my cup of java. Black with honey or raw sugar 🙂

Right now my kick is still overnight oats. I use water, spenda for sweetness, and I'll heat up a tablespoon of peanut butter, drizzle it over the top and then let the oats sit in the fridge overnight. Then when i'm ready to eat it the next morning I'll add 1 crumbled up granola bar mixed in for crunch.

have you ever considered stevia in place of splenda? My understanding is it is a much better sugar substitute as far as health is concerned.

Hi @Deezy123 answering if it's healthy can be tricky as it depends on other factors.
I started recently eating more and more oatmeal and we actually make our own granola (I'll post a recipe soon) and we eat it as a cereal with our own home made Almond Milk.
For example, we make the granola with peanut butter and although it can be high on calories, we don't put any added sugar of any kind, instead we use dates which to me is healthier. If you can't find skim milk, have you tried making your own milk like almond milk?

Excellent suggestions @madmen! Small changes like the ones you mentioned can make a huge difference to prepare a healthier breakfast.
Let us know when you post that recipe! We'll stay tuned! I saw this other thread with some nice recipes for homemade granola 😀
