Hard gainer

So I currently weight 160 pounds and want to move up to 180. Ive been eating around 2500 calories a day 300 carbs and 180 grams of protien a day. I guess the main issue is I dont want to put o unhealthy weight if thats a thing. Also what macros should I be at? Any workout routine tips or any tips at all? Thank you!

1) lift weights intelligently

2) don’t gain too fast (*)

 

(*) even with optimal training and eating, there’s only so much lean mass you can add during a week (for various takes on the matter, see this article). Any excess calories that cannot be used to build muscle will be stored as fat.
