Hi! I've been hyper tracking my food lately and am eating under the amount of calories. I'm only walking about 8,000 steps a day, not burning a whole lot. I'm not depriving myself. I just eat foods with a low amount of calories. Sweet potatoes, kale, quinoa -- lots of it! I don't want to start eating unhealthy just to get more than 1,000 calories logged, but I can't help but think that if I don't consume more calories, I might not lose weight.
Is anyone dealing with this?

Most people recommend not eating fewer than the calories consumed by your basal metabolic rate (BMR). There are many calculators online. Eating fewer calories can result in physical problems. A thousand calories a day is not enough to stay healthy.
I suggest increasing your calorie density. You can add some whole wheat pasta, brown rice, oatmeal, beans, corn, whole grain bread, and other higher calorie starches.
Leafy vegetables, tomatoes, broccoli, kale, peppers, onions, etc., should be thought of as nutrient sources. They do not contain many calories. The same is true of fresh fruits.
If you'd like to learn more about a healthy diet, I suggest watching PlantPure Nation. You can find it on Amazon.
