Healthy eating without any time?

I'm at university so I spend a lot of my time studying and revising. As a result I often end up eating frozen chips and breaded things which I can just put in the oven and leave while I carry on doing work...

Anyone got any suggestions for healthy easy food to make when I don't have much time to spare in preparation etc?

(Preferably not expensive either as I'm a uni student and all that)

Hi there @gibberish. Welcome to the Fitbit Community! As you mentioned, this can be a challenge to eat healthy when you have little time to actually prepare a meal. I found another thread with great tips on what you can try and do to maintain healthy by eating right. Log to the thread here and share some other great ideas with the rest of Community members. Robot Happy

Good luck! Robot wink

I recommend a crock pot - just set it up and let it cook like you've been doing, but much healthier food. Try this thread of recipes:

I also recommend a book called Fix It and Forget It. http://fix-itandforget-it.com/blog/category/slow-cooker-recipe/

I've recently learned to pick up chicken breasts and chickens that you can bake. The ones I've been buying are the Perdue pre seasoned full breast or the full chicken. Both cook really well in the cooking bag, and are healthy. You can get them free of hormones and all the other stuff in most stores. Makes it really easy when all I have to do is put it in the oven. I also agree about using a Crock Pot. If you need to buy one, is suggest a programmable one so you can use it whenever and it will turn off when you want it to do so.
