Hi! I'm new!
Just curious, if I use olive oil to saute garlic or peppers or someting to add in a recipe, do I add the whole amount of oil I put in the pan to the log? Or does some get cooked off? How do you do it?

I use an Olive Oil spray pump, that way you will use much less than your usual amount.
They look like this and they are wonderful for cooking.
Then I log about 1/4 teaspoon or so.
I had this same question yesterday and tooled around to lots of med sites and calorie counting sites and the consensus is count it all as mentioned above. Which is a big ouch. One woman says she uses water instead of oil and last night when re-heating some meat in a skillet I did just this. Worked well. Would not do for everything but for some things it is perfect.
