Questions to coffee drinkers: how do you drink your coffee? At home or at your favorite coffee place? If you make it yourself, what is your favorite way of doing it? For me, it’s part of the daily routine: on training days (5 days a week), I weigh 12 grams of beans, grind them and make two cups of espresso. I drink one right away for breakfast and keep the other one for my workout shake (add it to a mix of whey protein and dextrose). On non-training days, I make a cup of latte with a double espresso (so also 12 grams of beans). I’ve been using an entry-level Italian espresso machine (DeLonghi Icona ECO 311) that has served me well so far (2.5 years). I have a second latte after lunch and that’s it for the day. I find this timing gives me all the benefits of caffeine without impeding my sleep.

I have a Keurig coffee maker. I have 1 cup while I ride my exercise bike when I first get up.
I have a second cup when I get back from my walk and get back on my bike.
That's it. 2 cups a day
Some days we make real coffee but I have to have creamer in mine. Cant drink it black anymore

I use a french press and Allegro coffee from Whole Foods. I like to add about a teaspoon of 2% milk and a Teaspoon of sugar to a 6oz cup of coffee. Helps me keep my sweet tooth at bay as well as giving me some extra energy. Twice daily is my normal routine.
Keeps me away from Starbucks and places that i will tend to order very sugary drinks.
