Happy Thanksgiving all of you!
I know that most of you are preparing a fabulous dinner for today. Well, I searched and found a recipe that hope you like "Green Beans with Toasted Almonds". This recipe is easy to make, is for 4 servings and you will have it done in 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
How to cook?
Trim the string beans. Peel and slice the shallots. Blanch the string beans in boiling water. In a 14 inch saute pan, heat the butter over medium-high heat, letting it get foamy and light brown. Add the shallots and almonds and toast them in the butter for 1 - 2 minutes, or until warmed through and coated with butter. Add the beans and use tongs to toss them around in the pan. Season with the salt and crack of pepper.
This dish is great when served on a large platter. Serve a heaping pile of green beans, topped with the almonds shallots, brown butter.
Then it will be ready to serve!

Thanks for the recipe. We're roasting acorn squash and also sweet potatoes with onion soup mix. We have more food than we know what to do with, but that's what leftovers are for. 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

That sounds absolutely delicious. I must try it! I do something similar with peas and a ton of garlic.
Thank you for sharing your recipe @AlejandraFitbit!
