Make the closed groups visible

Message to Fitbit HQ:

We don't know that a closed group exists until the creator of that group tells us. And then they have to add us as friend so they can invite us to the group.

1- This last part can be dangerous as we're more vulnerable to scammers

2- Not knowing that other groups exist for the topic they want, people are creating duplicates of the same group which is pointless.

Can you please make the closed groups visible, and new people just request to enter the group regardless of whether they are friends with the creator of the group?

Can you also please allow us to create open groups (no need for acceptance into the group)?

totally agree , I’ve made a Shropshire group , for people who live or line the area but  Its pointless As no one can see it 😤😤😤
