Hello!
Does anyone have any already planned meal plans for lunches and dinners? I am about to graduate Nursing school and I have already had issues with resisting the cookies and cakes on the unit. Also, I usually pack frozen meals for my shifts as a nursing assistant but I would like to plan a more balanced diet for when I am a full time nurse.
Any tips would be appreciated!

@mangotango580 .. hey there. I think no matter what field you are in, meal planning can be tricky. I remember going to the office and it seemed like every day there was a birthday or some other event that required cake. Thank fully I work from home so it isn't an issue any longer. I think the key is to plan ahead. when I packed lunch I would have several go to meals that I would pack over and over. cottage cheese, veggies, pretzels, tuna.. I would always make my lunch the night before and have it ready to go in the morning so I wouldn't have to spend time in the morning. Plan your shopping list to have the items you need on hand so there is no excuse to resort to prepackaged high sodium food.

I have never had planned my meals until I went to college. I am in my second year at ASA college https://www.asa.edu/nursing/. They provided good support, and they told me that you could not use your knowledge and abilities without high-quality sleep and elements plus vitamins your body needs. I started planning my shopping list while I was fed up. I bought only healthy food and sorted it into categories, then arranged them into meals by structure: 1. breakfast -fruits, omelette with toast or oatmeal; 2. lunch- veggies+fish or meat; 3. dinner- nuts, soup or rice. I feel so much better!

You can make something like soup that is well digested by the stomach. For example, make chops or cutlets that can be eaten with buckwheat and vegetables. For example, I prefer smoothies with vitamin supplements from and salads. This is good for me because I do sports and take care of my health. I try to eat fish twice a week and meat at least once
