Tracking

This year I  plan to use the Fitbit app to track what I eat.  In the past I used WW or LoseIt.  I am trying to simplify and only use the Fitbit app.  The app seems to only track calories instead of WW which would use fat, fiber, etc to figure points.  Does anyone have tips/suggestions on how to adhere to the Fitbit calorie counter?

Hello @mrsj953 and welcome to the forum. I would love to answer your question but I am not sure what you are asking. Do you need advice on low calorie/high nutrition food, or how to log food, or how to count calories, or how to read the under, over budget.. Please give more specifics so we can help you. Happy New Year!!

I guess I am confused about how it seems like I get to eat so many calories based on my activity and goals but the fat and other nutrients aren't really tracked for weight loss purposes. I wonder if a lot of people have success tracking their food with the Fitbit app?

@mrsj953- maybe it's late (I should be in bed) - if you mean success being weight loss, yes.  I don't really work towards specific nutrient levels, but my log (on the computer) shows fat, carbs, protein etc. overall for the day.

I use myftinesspal, which syncs into fitbit.  I know it isn't one stop shop, but MFP may offer the breakdowns you are seeking.
