Understanding the calorie budget.

Hi guys.

Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else, if so please direct me!

But im a bit confused with what my calorie budget is compared to what my food plan advises.

Im being advised that I'm under budget, with only 227 calories left, yet when in my food plan, it advises I can still eat 1262 calories out of 2175 (which I assume is the budget I set)

If I understand your post correctly your budget is up to that moment in the day. So if it is halfway through the day, you only burned half of your calories so far. The 227 calories left is what you can still eat to be on budget for that moment in the day.

As the day continues you will keep burning calories. So you can eat more than the 227 calories for the rest of the day. To meet your food plan after the full day you can eat the 1262 calories.
