I found this video recipe on Facebook, and I thought it looked good, but I'm not sure of the calorie count.
Any ideas?

The website www.caloriecount.com has a section that will allow you to input a recipe and the number of servings to get the calorie count.

@A_Lurker - per serving? or for the whole pan? I just know that looked like a good dish to serve my family.

Whole pan, but that's a very rough number.
Sorry, was on the phone when answering. I say a very rough number. I based on the following:
1 lb, 90% lean ground beef (I tend to use this when I cook and drain/rinse the beef)
15-oz canned tomatoes
15-oz canned tomato sauce
1-1/2 cups corn
2 cups elbow macaroni
1-1/2 cups shredded colby jack
I didn't add the taco seasonings as the software I was using didn't have it. I personally use a food scale, especially for things like beef, macaroni, cheese, maybe even the corn. When I'm making a from scratch dish I usually just weigh everything as I go. If you're serving it to multiple people, serve yourself first so you can get a good estimate of what your serving is. In this case, 1/6 is 450 calories, 1/8 is 338 calories. Add a nice tossed salad with minimal dressing and this could be good. (I don't know how many calories you would leave for dinner, so I don't know). It's easier to divide the dish into portions with the first one. If you start serving other people it's harder to guess.

@A_Lurker - so this dish to could logically be served in a dieters household.

I don't know what calorie level you are eating at, but I'm a believer in anything in moderation can be served in a dieters household. My parents used to make something like this, and I've made things like this myself. It's a relatively quick go to meal. As I said, I'd add some type of tossed salad with it to balance the canned goods with the fresh.

@A_Lurker - I made this dish tonight. Two of my three kids seem to have liked it. Still working on my 5 year old. It's hard to judge how much of a serving I gave myself.
Assuming I got the amount right that I put in my bowl, I think I did alright with the numbers. I tried to keep in mind the sodium and calories. I just might get myself another bowl.

all you need to do is to find the calorie count for each ingredient and divide by the number of servings. It might be difficult to apportion the macronutrients so just do a quick add for the calories.
Sorry. I didn't see this was already done. I weigh the whole thing and then weigh the portion. It's really just a guesstimate but it works.
