Work Snacking

I just started working again (I have the summer off each seaon) and I am looking for some different snacks. I have a desk job doing tech support.

I eat baby carrots a alot sometimes with hummus, a graham cracker, a baby bell cheese or a yogurt.

Anyone have a creative, lower calorie snack they like to eat at work?

I keep larabars and protein bars at my desk along with those 100 calorie packs of almonds. Emerald brand almonds has 100 cal packs of different flavored almonds, which is fun and curbs my sweet tooth. I also keep a huge tub a trail mix at my desk. A handful is just over 100 cals (the one I get is from Costco).

Grab a box of snack bags and start filling them up with a variety of snacks.

One serving of the following:

Cashews

Craisins

Hard boiled eggs

Cheese

Cheerios

Honey Nut Cheerios

Seasonal Fruit

Beef Jerkey

Greek Yogurt

I pack a variety of thsoe snacks or and snack on them every other hour at my desk at work.

As @cspencer13 and @Incognito said, nuts are perfect as the healthy fat keeps you full. Just don't overdo it 😉 Here are some of the things I do:

Homemade granola (homemade so you can control what's in it),

Easy-peel mandarins

Grapes

Blueberries are also good, as they take longer to eat

Snack bars/fruit leather

String cheese

Small containers of Greek yogurt

I love these suggestions! I'll definitely add a couple to my list.

My treats are Sanissimo crackers (oven baked corn tortillas), plums, laughing cow cheese, Planters nuts (in packets since I go overboard) and pre-cut fruit (I cut it early in the morning Smiley Tongue) and oikos greek yogurt.
