Thinking of trying natto (fermented soy beans) supposed to be beneficial for the heart. Has anyone had any experience with it?

I tried Natto maybe 15 years ago at a sushi place... I don't remeber exactly what it tasted like but i remember hating it so much it ended my meal... if you are going to try it perhaps try it plain 1st and not ruin your whole breakfast

I tried the 1.5 oz. natto with my oatmeal yesterday, it was tolerable. It probably helped that I had maple syrup, fruit and grain cereal mixed with the oatmeal. I had another 1.5oz. Natto with a mixed vegetable sauté for dinner and it was OK. I’ve got 9 more 3 oz. containers…so I guess I’ll be able to finish them using the camouflage technique.

I have and even made a video of it. Imagine a not-sweet (more savory) version of Baked Beans. It's sticky, but that makes eating it with chopsticks easier. Find a local Asian megamart and you'll be able to locate a small package of it to try.

Nice video... the mustard and sauce with the Natto sounds interesting, I'll try it. The actual taste of the Natto isn't bad it's the texture and smell that needs to be camouflaged in my opinion. I plan on eating it every 5 days to finish my 10 packet supply. At that rate I'll finish it before it gets too funky.
