difficulty logging regular meals

I eat unprocessed foods, no brand names. I try to enter mixed vegetables (that I have made myself) and it shows me processed, brand name products. It is too difficult to try to estimate how much of each individual vegetable I am eating. I don't understand how to log regular, home made food.

I find it much easier to log my meals in the fitbit add a meal feature instead of the available library of meals. I add up what is in my meal on a calculator and then log it in the app as breakfast, lunch, dinner. For repeatable things, I add that to the often used items to avoid having to look them up or calculate them for the next meal. I know it sounds labor intense, but for me, it works and keeps me on track with my meals.
