I am puzzled by the number of steps my Inspire 3 counts on a daily basis, and it seems to be getting worse. This evening while I cooked dinner (in a small kitchen) my fitbit recorded over 2,000 steps in less than an hour of cooking. Is there any way I can adjust and/or update my fitbit to ensure better accuracy?
Thanks

Hello @Kemper22 and welcome to the Community. Wrist worn trackers can both overcount and undercount your steps. Cooking can involve a lot of arm movement that aren't steps. One way to reduce these spurious steps is to change the sensitivity of tracker. Most people wear their watches on their non-dominant wrist. If you tap on your profile picture > Inspire 3 tile > Wrist and change the setting to Dominant, you can reduce these extra steps. My hair stylist actually gave up on wearing a fitness tracker. She could get 10,000 'steps' in a morning, just styling hair.
I also want to point out something that undercounts steps and that is pushing a shopping cart, stroller, etc. There are posts from users who pushed a shopping cart in a very large store for an hour or more and got no steps recorded.
