Activity auto detect

Since the Inspire 3 update a month ago, my Fitbit starts tracking my walking after about 6-7 minutes. I’ve turned off all auto detect for activities and it still won’t stop doing that. What can I do to prevent that feature from starting?

Below is from the Inspire 3 manual, but unfortunately when "auto-start" feature was added without much notice, it was added turned on for everyone.  It can be a good feature if you learn about the advantages of using the Exercise App, but most people like just being able to ignore that part for walks.
So to get rid of it, follow instructions below, but turn "Auto-Start" off. Doing so once will keep it off.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
