Android app not updating daily weight from my smart scales

I have smart scales paired with Fitbit and my daily weight is updated correctly on my website dashboard however it does not update on the Android Fitbit app.

I tried the recommendation (see below) but it did not rectify the situation.

I see this has been a problem with iOS as well.

• Force-closing the app by double tapping the home button and swiping up the app
• Log out from the app, restart your phone and log back in.

Well I fixed the problem. I revoked permission for my Etekcity smart scale in the Fitbit app and then went to my Etekcity app and added Fitbit again. An hour later all my weight history showed up in the Fitbit app and in the Fitbit webpage 🙂

I already tried this yesterday and it didn't work but it did work when I tried again today.

And now it's not working again. I've contacted The manufacturer of the smart scale as they claim it syncs with Fitbit
