App flashes Fitbit logo when checking for update

My inspire 3 is at the latest firmware. When I got into the app under help and support and click “check for update” the Fitbit logo just flashes/pulses over and over again. It doesn’t tell me that my Fitbit is already at the latest version or that an update isn’t available. It used to tell me. Is this a bug?

Same problem but with Charge 5 that I know needs the latest update 🤷🏼‍:female_sign:
