Auto detect exercise takes over fitbit face.

I like to manually start my actual walking workouts. If the Fitbit picks up little extra walks as exercise I'm ok with that.  However, now when it auto detects, it takes over the Fitbit display. Even when I've manually started a walk, 10 minutes later it auto detects the walk, as well, and displays it on the face. I then have to manually stop both the Fitbit and my phone app.  It didn't used to do that. Is there a way to tell it not to display a workout on my Fitbit?

@Bfm129   A recent firmware update added a new feature to your Inspire 3.  It can open the Exercise app on the Inspire 3 and is in six shortcuts: walk, run, bike, elliptical, rowing, and spinning.  To turn it off:

  • Swipe left/right on the screen to the Exercise app and tap to open it
  • You will probably have the Walk option right at the top, so tap on that to choose Walk
  • Now swipe up on the tiny "^" to go to review the settings
  • Look for Auto-start and toggle it off

This is a feature that can misidentify any other activities, so you might want to turn it off in the other five shortcuts.

What a horrible update!  Yeah, let's make it so you have to swipe three or four times instead of just flicking your wrist to see time or steps.

Thank you Laurie!  I turned the auto detect off on the app but apparently that doesn't do it!  Hope this works!
