Bleached screen post update - Inspire 3

I installed a software update last night and ever since the screen seems to be bleached out, or looks as if I'm viewing it through yellow lenses (I'm not, cross my heart).

I've tried resetting several times and adjusting the brightness (which incidentally doesn't seem to have any impact -  dim, normal, max - they all look identical) and can't find anything on forums.

I've only had the thing for a couple of weeks and looking at it as it is now is making me queasy.

Help?

Hi there, @SB_27. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums.

Thanks for reporting this inconvenience with your Inspire 3 and for the steps you've tried before reaching out. You did a great job checking other similar threads. Can you please confirm that you've followed all steps to restart your Inspire 3? You can also try this:

  • Change clock face on your Inspire 3. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.
  • Erase data from your Inspire 3. This will remove apps, stored data, personal information on the device.

Hope this helps.

Hi Yojana - thanks for such a thorough and easy to follow response.

I already tried switching clock faces to no effect.  I did follow all the steps for the reset, I even tried the hold the buttons for 10 seconds but that did nothing.  I've now erased the data, and it hasn't helped, the screen still has an overall yellowish tinge like an over exposed photo and the colours are all off.

In a new development, the day after I posted the original question I noticed that the screen had started glitching when I scrolled up.

I really think it has something to do with the update as it was absolutely fine before that and was instantly wrong on restart.
