Brand new Inpsire 3 is losing previous days data

I have a newly purchased (6 days ago) Inspire 3 that has been updated to 63.20001.210.26.

I have tried all the recommended suggestions to get my data synced to the Fitbit app. For the past 5 days, it will track my current days steps and everything looks fine. Then, the next day, I go to review previous days and everything is set back to zero except for calories burned, but, of course, it's not correct. The really weird thing is, at first it would set all my steps back to zero, but yesterday it wiped out all but 105.

To be clear, I have cleared cache on my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled app, resynced the Fitbit, rebooted the Fitbit, deleted my old Fitbit (it's thrown away), etc. Everything I could find here I've tried.

This kind of defeats the purpose of health tracking and I have no idea what to try next. Suggestions??
