Inspire 3 is not recording my exercise for yesterday and today.  I walked 30 minutes each day.  There is no entry at all for those 2 days.

@Lindaslash , when you get to the exercise app, please try swiping up with a very light touch on the Fitbit.  Sometimes it takes a little while to get the hang of the swipe.

You can also see which exercises are installed on your Inspire 3 by going to the app, clicking on the person icon top left (to go to the account screen) then clicking on the picture of your Inspire 3.  On the next screen click on “Exercise shortcuts” at the bottom of the screen.  There you will see the exercises loaded onto your Fitbit. You can delete ones you don’t use and then more will be available.  You can also reorder the way the are shown on the Fitbit.  If you do make any changes be sure to sync your Fitbit.

@Lindaslash Hello! Did you start the exercise on your Inspire first? That's the most reliable way to make sure all exercises are logged. If you need help adding or removing exercises, please check out this video

I don’t use the exercise function. I just use steps.

Hi, @Lindaslash , the “SmartTrack” facility on the Fitbit, which automatically detects your activity works pretty consistently in most cases but it can sometimes either misname an activity, or miss it out altogether.  Reasons for missing it could be if you paused once or more times during your activity, maybe to chat briefly with a neighbour or stopping for a particularly long pedestrian light, etc.  When this happens you always have the option to manually log your activity.  Instructions are here .

For most people the auto detection of exercise works pretty well, and they are happy occasionally to log manually any missed activity, but as @Heather-S suggests, if it very important to you to have all activity recorded you may want to switch to using the exercise app instead.

*Tip: whenever your Fitbit is not behaving as expected a first troubleshooting step is to give your Fitbit a restart .*

I did do a restart, and I still have the problem. I can’t get my Fitbit to display the exercises. When I get to the Exercise function and swipe right or left, I just get the clock face. This is a new inspire 3. Is it defective?

Something is wrong.  My inspire 3 will not show the list of exercises.  When I swipe in Exercise, I just get the clock face.  This is a brand new Fitbit.  Is it defective?

Hi, @Lindaslash on your Inspire 3 you need to swipe left until you come to the exercise screen and then swipe up to see which exercises are available on your Fitbit.  You are allowed up to 6 exercises, however there is a longer list in the app and you can edit which exercises appear on your device (and the order in which they appear).  You can delete some and add in others, but make sure you always sync whenever you make any changes in the app so that the changes are reflected on your Fitbit.

Swiping doesn’t display the exercise kinds. It displays the clock face. I have restarted it and did a setup, but it still only displays the clock.
