Features suddenly stopped working

No more breathing rate, heart rate variability,  sleep stages also gone. Worked fine until this past week.

My wife had exactly the same issue with her Inspire 3 device and I had no idea what was going on there, so I gave her my Inspire 3 device that returned detailed sleep data and heart rate metrics flawlessly for more than two months to use.

I was very surprised to see that my known-good device behaved exactly the same way as hers did when she wore it; no detailed sleep data, and no Breathing Rate and HRV heart metrics.

The Fitbit SDK documentation states that Breathing Rate and HRV data will not be returned if the device can't determine your sleep stages, which explains that issue.  It also states that changes in HRV are used to help determine sleep stages, so all I can think of is that maybe there isn't enough variance in the HRV measurements taken overnight to determine sleep stages?

In any case, I sure hope that Google resolves this issue because we purchased these Inspire 3 devices specifically to obtain detailed sleep data and heart metrics.

I’m having the same experience! It worked great for one week and now it doesn’t calculate heart rate, sleep pattern, etc. I wonder what is going on and if we have a warranty.

Unfortunately, I firmly believe that this product performance issue can only be resolved with a device firmware and/or an app software update at this point in time, because I returned three Inspire 3 devices that I purchased for my wife that had this same issue because my Inspire 3 device was working great, so I thought her devices themselves were defective.  

It wasn't until I gave my wife my known-good Inspire 3 device to use and observed that she was still having this performance issue that I finally realized that it had to be a firmware and/or software issue causing the problem.
