Since this firmware version is installed on my device, I have problems with the following:
- recurring alarms no longer work. Need to make them single use only, turning them on each day I need to use them. I have multiple during the day on alternating days to remind me of medication and waking up and more. Useless now.
- Reconnecting is glitchy after Bluetooth connection had been turned off for a little. I need to disable BT sometimes to stop my phone from auto-connecting with other devices that I can't prevent from auto-connecting. After turning BT back on, can't reconnect with Inspire 3. Says it's not in range (it is literally right next to my phone). rebooting Inspire 3 works usually, not always.
- Timezones... Yuk. I was on holiday, -1 hr time difference from home. Time on Fitbit adjusted perfectly. Auto-detected activity shows in the app with a 2hr difference (at 1 point even 3hr difference) from reality (or home). Didn't match HR either. Manually adjusting times of activity won't stick, looks glitchy onscreen in app
- Autowake: that is something that never worked properly. Or rather, having it OFF. I don't want my wrist to light up in bed each time I move my arm. It still does.
- automatic recognition of activity.. I have literally been doing a HIIT thing between 12 and 12.45. Thing cuts it up as 2 workouts; Aerobic workout for 30min and then just... "sport" for another 17 min. wtf.

@Hippochick88 , A warm welcome to the Community! Thank you for your message and information.
The Inspire 3 got a new firmware update (v. 220.21) . Please make sure that you have this installed.
Use the Inspire 3 as usual and the update will appear as a banner in the app.
Then follow the steps here: How do I update my Fitbit device?

Thank you for the warm welcome, and for the slightly bright horizon that there is in fact an update coming for my device. It's been maddening, lol.
Is there anyway to enforce this update? I've only had the version 214.24 installed for a few weeks now, and there is no new one 220.21 available in the app yet. I always update (almost) immediately after it becomes available, and I'm assuming the Firmware updates don't get rolled out to all devices all at the same time? The fitbit app (on iPhone) is up to date as well.

@Hippochick88 Thank you for your reply.
At this moment, there is no way to force the update.
Just make sure that you have the latest Fitbit app installed. Use the Inspire 3 as usual, and sync it at least 1-2 times a day.
You should receive a banner in the app, when the update is ready for you.
