Can I wear an Inspire 3 in salt water?

I am looking to buy a Fitbit Inspire 3, but I’m not sure if it would withstand salt water/seawater. I was wondering: How deep in the water can it actually go? And would it last twenty to thirty minutes in seawater?

Although the Inspire 3 is water-resistant to 50 meters, I have seen that sea water (salt water) tends to damage many electronic devices, so it's always recommended that you follow the steps listed in the Wear & Care guide, and to dry the watch before wearing it. 

Keep in mind that these devices are more designed to be worn at a pool, river or lake, so I wouldn't recommend to use in salt water for a prolonged period of time. You can find all the information in this article.
