Fitbit Inspire 3 and Pixel Watch 3

Hello,

I have a Pixel Watch 3, using the Fitbit app for daily usage and health monitoring. Now, I'm thinking on buying an Inspire 3 to complement it, because I play soccer every week, and I don't want to play with the watch, but I want to monitor the training.

I have been reading a lot of posts here asking if we can have several devices on the same Fitbit account. Some say that you can't, some that if there's only one with Gallery, you can. So the question is, can I have a Pixel Watch 3 and alternate it with an Inspire 3? They won't be powered on at the same time, I'll use one or another, and switch off the one that is not in use. So there's no option to lose any data.

Thanks in advance.

Hi, @cmmata welcome, @alexthecat is correct, it's been a feature of the Fitbit App for a long time, ever since "Gallery" was introduced for the clock faces. Changing devices on the Fitbit app is very simple, touch the icon in the top left corner of the "Today" screen with %>add more devices>select your new device>select "replace">swipe up to "Agree">connect it to a live charging cable>continue>enter the 4 digit code, if its the Inspire 3>pair>advance through the instructions & once you are at the "Today" screen sync. It takes about a minute. I wear a PW2 as my daily but use an Inspire 3 for swimming so I change devices twice a day.

I hope this helps.

Cheers

@cmmata unfortunately you can't have both an Inspire 3 and a Pixel Watch 3 connected to your Fitbit app at the same time. If you buy an Inspire 3, you will need to remove the Pixel Watch 3 in order to add the Inspire 3 to your Fitbit app.

First of all, thanks for your answer!

If I cannot have both devices, is there a way to track or import activities like soccer where I cannot wear the watch, and see them on Fitbit app?

I have been a Garmin user for a long time, and I had no problem having a watch and a smart band on the same account, and using one or another depending on the sport I was doing. Honestly, I would be extremely surprised and disappointed if the situation is like "wear the watch, or just forget about tracking that kind of activity".

Oh, and by tracking or importing on Fitbit, I mean having all the information there. I tried to use a Garmin device while playing soccer, and synchronize the activity to Fitbit. While it works well, and I see the activity on Fitbit app, it's just the activity and the steps count. The heart rate for example says I didn't do any sport on all day, and that I should train more. Quite disappointing for a Google device and service in this information era.

Hi @Gr4ndp4. So basically, if I understand it well, the Fitbit app does not allow to have several devices, and what you do is replace one or another every day? If that's the case, well.. it's not the ideal solution of course. But I guess it's better than nothing.

Thank you!
